Didn't see the first movie but had a free pass to see a sneak peek of this sequel. A good movie to take the kids or grandkids to, very clean PG fun, some nice effects and it keeps moving along. A few moments that adults will enjoy, especially Hank Azaria's performance. The rest of the cast walk through their roles or are generally annoying, even the usually reliable Amy Adams. The best acting is probably provided by an animated group of Albert Einstein bobblehead dolls, but I don't think anybody going to see this movie would expect anything more.

I loved the first Night at the Museum film. When it came out in 2006, I thought it was the best movie of the year. Now, Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian has come out and I have to say that it's a really good movie. The first film is FAR superior to this one, but I still found this entertaining. While it had a convoluted story and was a bit less believable than the first movie, there were still many scenes that had me laughing out loud. I'll recommend this movie to anyone who liked the first movie. Hank Azaria is great as Kamunrah, the main antagonist. The returning cast also does great. Overall, I'd give this probably a 7/10.

The first one was HILARIOUS and amazing! Ben Stiller is pretty much wonderful, his sense of humor and style of comedy always makes me crack up. And yet, despite the fame the first movie got, and how funny it was, and the high expectations everyone has for this film--I actually think it will be BETTER than the first one! And do you know why? It's quite simple actually. Our dear, lovely Amy Adams is in this one. I happen to be an extreme fan of Miss Adams', and take it from me: she really is enchanting. I have seen 11 films with her in them, and she has yet to let me down. There is no possible way this movie can go down with her in it. Even IF the plot ends up being not-so-great, I have no doubt that I will leave the cinema saying, "Well, the movie was O.K. But Amy was AMAZING!" So, even if you didn't like the first too terribly much, I encourage you to go see this film to see Amy Adams performance, I'm sure she'll make it worth your while. I know I'll be at the theatre on opening night!

i have seen e orginal film to Night of the Musem it is so funny i give the first film 9 out of 9 Excellent Film but the second movie will twice as funnier then the first one and it Should Win for Best Motion Picture at the Golden Globes
